Return & Refund Policy
Right of Withdrawal - 14 Days
According to the Distance Contracts Act, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you received the goods. This means you can return the product without giving any reason.
How to Return
Step 1: Notify Me
Contact me within 14 days of receiving the goods via email to order@alamm.se with the following information:
- Your order number
- Which product(s) you want to return
- Reason for return (optional but helps me improve)
Step 2: Pack the Product
The product must be returned in the same condition as received:
- Unused and in original condition
- In original packaging (if possible)
- Well packed to avoid damage during transport
Important: I am not responsible for products damaged during return transport. Please use the same packaging the product was delivered in and pack extra carefully as ceramics are fragile.
Step 3: Send the Package
Send the package to the address I provide in my reply email. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
Tip: Use a trackable shipping method (e.g., PostNord with tracking number) so you can prove the package was sent. Keep the shipping receipt.
Refund
Once I have received and approved your return, I will refund:
- Product price: Full amount for returned product
- Delivery cost: Standard shipping (if you paid for shipping)
Return shipping is paid by you and is not refunded.
The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the return to the same payment method used at purchase (usually the same card).
When the Right of Withdrawal Does NOT Apply
The right of withdrawal does not apply if:
- The product has been used or damaged
- The product has been custom-made or adapted to your specifications
- The product has been damaged due to improper handling during return transport
- The seal/packaging has been broken on hygiene items (not applicable to ceramics)
Claims - Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If you have received damaged or incorrect products, different rules apply than the right of withdrawal:
Report Immediately
Contact me immediately (preferably within 3 days) at order@alamm.se with:
- Order number
- Clear photos of the damage/defect
- Description of the problem
What Happens Next?
I assess each case individually and offer one of the following solutions:
- New product: I send a new product at no extra cost
- Refund: Full refund including shipping cost
- Discount: If the damage is minor and you want to keep the product
I cover return shipping for damaged or incorrect products.
Natural Variations
All ALAMM products are handmade, which means each product is unique. Small variations in:
- Color and glaze shades
- Shape and size (within reasonable limits)
- Surface texture and pattern
- Small air bubbles or irregularities in glaze
...are not considered defects but a natural part of handmade ceramics and do not give the right to return or claim.
Product Exchange
I do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you want a different product, return the original product according to the right of withdrawal and place a new order.
